This course will provide you with an opportunity to assess your own workstation while learning about office ergonomic best practices.

Topics Covered:

  • Posture and body positioning
  • Cause of fatigue and discomfort
  • Signs and symptoms of ergonomic injuries
  • Proper workstation set-up
  • Healthy work habits

This ‘office ergonomics resource center’ will help you to set up and use your computer workstation safely. You will complete two modules, Ergonomics training and Ergonomics Self-Assessment. Once complete, you will then be provided with your personal Personal Recommendation Report, which will supply a list of tasks to help you work more comfortably.


**PLEASE NOTE: The Learning Management System (LMS), where trainings are housed, is set up for employees. If you are a student or visiting scholar, you must request access to the system before you can complete your training. Please email hr-learning@ucdavis.edu to request access to the system.  This class is for staff at the UC Davis Health Campus.
